The daughter of Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, the star got an early introduction to Hollywood thanks to her famous parents. She picked up minor roles in her teens before skyrocketing to fame as Princess Leia in 1977’s Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. She continued the iconic role in subsequent Star Wars movies and specials, also adding to her résumé with small-screen projects and books. Decades later, Fisher is just as beloved and is continuing her family’s Hollywood dynasty as her daughter, Billie Lourd, strikes out on her own.
