Lionsgate will release Angel Has Fallen, the third in the series of amped-up action movies in which Gerard Butler plays Secret Service agent Mike Banning, on Aug. 23, 2019. The only competition currently occupying that date is Alex Kendrick’s Overcomer, an inspirational drama about a high school coach who takes on a cross-country runner, from Sony’s Affirm label. In the upcoming Fallen film, directed by Ric Roman Waugh, Banning is framed for the assassination of the president. Butler is joined by a cast that includes Morgan Freeman, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lance Reddick, Nick Nolte, Danny Huston, Piper Perabo and Tim Blake Nelson. Read More here

It’s larger-than-life and not to be taken at all seriously, but a top-notch cast – Costner, Kelly Reilly, Danny Huston – hold it all together. No sign of the show making it to the UK, though
