Emmy-winning and Oscar- and Tony-nominated actress Laura Linney, 55, has won fans for her work in film, television and theater, from Love Actually to John Adams to My Name Is Lucy Barton. Now she’s stepping back into the character of Mary Ann Singleton in Tales of the City, a Netflix revival (June 7) of the controversial 1990s miniseries, based on the novels of Armistead Maupin.
