Former Iron Fist star Tom Pelphrey and Jessica Frances Dukes (Marvel’s Jessica Jones) are set as new series regulars and Power‘s Joseph Sikora and and Felix Solis (Ten Days in the Valley) will recur on the upcoming third season of Netflix’s Ozark, the drama series starring, directed and executive produced by Jason Bateman. Additionally, Lisa Emery and Janet McTeer who recurred last season as Darlene Shell and Janet McTeer, respectively, have been promoted to series regulars for Season 3. Continue here

Last year Netflix’s gritty drama series “Ozark” earned a pair of SAG Award nominations for lead stars Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as married couple Marty and Wendy Byrde who get involved in a money laundering scheme. Fast-forward to Season 2 and the show actually doubled in nominations from two to four, with bids for Julia Garner, who plays criminal teen Ruth Langmore, as well as the entire ensemble cast. In its first season, “Ozark” looked like an aspirant to “Breaking Bad’s” status as a near-universally-admired drama about a charismatic, talented antihero, with one crucial difference. Its protagonist Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman), a money-laundering accountant fleeing with his family to the Lake of the Ozarks to start raising quick cash, began bad. The show’s drama was increasingly pitched, even as the moral stakes were near-invisible: The show rewarded the character who was most ruthless, and its ensemble kept the competition for that title heated.
