The Marvel Cinematic Universe has had solo adventures. It has had team-up films. And every few years, the doors are kicked open for massive ensemble superhero adventures under the “Avengers” banner. Joe and Anthony Russo’s Avengers: Infinity War will be the third such excursion into the MCU, and as has been the case in the past, new faces will be added to the mix in time for the fight. Actor Mark Ruffalo, who essays Hulk in the ‘Avengers’ movies, says filming for the project is like shooting a TV show. Ruffalo, 50, has portrayed Bruce Banner aka The Hulk in three movies of the franchise till now, including the two ‘Avengers’ movies and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’. Read More here

Before Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters, the stars of the upcoming epic Marvel team-up are being heroes to young fans all over the country by assembling packages of toys and collectibles tied to the film and delivering them to children’s hospitals. Marvel Studios and Disney’s biggest superhero mashup yet is hitting North American theaters earlier than expected. Avengers: Infinity War will now unfurl April 27, a week before its earlier launch date of May 4. In other words, the summer box office will kick off earlier than expected (the first weekend in May is historically considered the official start of the summer season). Read More here

Say cheese. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stretching back to the release of the original Iron Man. To celebrate, the MCU assembled just about every superhero who’s ever been involved in the franchise for one epic class photo. About 80 actors and filmmakers gathered in Atlanta on Oct. 7, 2017, to celebrate the anniversary and strike a pose. All the core Avengers — including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner — were there, along with newcomers like Michelle Pfeiffer (who’ll appear in this year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp as Janet Van Dyne) and Brie Larson (who’ll be debuting as Captain Marvel in 2019).
